Healthy Harbours Session 2:

This session was about what is in our water catchment and where it starts. We walked down to Kenepuru stream and examined and tested the health.

We first looked at the stream and saw how clean or clear it was, then we tested how fast, cold and the conductivity of it. Then Liz (who was the leader) talked to us about how we can make the harbour much better cleaner and healthier.

The second part of this trip was actually when we got a net and went fishing with it in the very shellow area looking if we could find any incects, this test was to see if there was any creatures that belong in clean water because if we find them then this proves our stream is clean.

At the end we all thought about how to make our harbour  healthy and said we wont litter and take a stand for our water!

My Horrible Ending

The pounding in my heart with the banging under my feet gaining more pressure as I turn to look at the bright and uneasy colourful horror ganging on me step by step as it drags the chainsaw leaving a clean cut between the crusty, crunchy leaves and the dry grass. The high pitched voice over the roaring of the chainsaw gave me more anxiety of how I may leave Earth! Huffing and puffing, screaming and crying was all that could be done, I always knew there was something creepy about clowns!!!!

My last words, my last thought, my last desire is to be a lesson to everyone. Your life can be gone in a second and don’t forget that!!!

SEE YOU IN THE AFTERLIFE….

Camp

My Camp Experiance

Camp was great and it was fun exciting and most of all tiring because waking up at 6:00 am was not my thing to be honest. After waking up we have fitness and it is really cold in the mornings but even though it was amazing. Over all I had a awesome time and I will never forget it and I mean it. If I had to be honest I think we have had the best camp ever from Rangikura school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all this amazing photo of the best view, was taken when we were on our adventurous walk of 13K and believe me it was tiring. But guess what, we got to stop at this beach and it was glorious, the sand was gold, the water was glistening and the sun was reflecting on the water.

Rock climbing was one of my favourite moments on camp because knowing you can climb up a wall that high and having your mates cheer for you is a amazing feeling. I actually found it a bit easy exccept for the part just before the very top where I was struggling a little bit. Me and my friend Jordan Tibble were the only girls in our activity group that made it to the top but the other girls didn't, at least they gave it a try and that was good. After the last person, people started to go again but me and Jordan sticked playing on the practicing area. Here is a photo of me making it to the
top!
